Flamenco brings all of my soul and emotions into movement. It’s a passion that embraces your entire being.
It allows me to express grief and sorrow but also brings me great joy.
What I love about flamenco is that the learning doesn't seem to ever have an end.
Flamenco means a lot to me in the way that it allows me the ability and freedom express myself in a way that words cannot explain. It works a different part of my brain that keeps my mind occupied. When I'm in class, or on the stage, whatever problems I have outside of that don't matter in those moments.
From my very first Flamenco class I felt an unexplained affection to this art form; as though I was connecting to energy from my ancestors. I am grateful and proud to be part of Claudia's classes; the artistic pursuits are challenging and soul-filling!
“Flamenco ignites my soul.”

To me Flamenco Dance represents love, joy, passion, spirit. strength, and emotional healing. It is a way to connect with my heritage, have fun, release stress, process emotions and experiences, maintain mental acuity and physical coordination, improve dance skills, overcome anxiety, make personal connections and be in community with those sharing a love of Flamenco Dance. I am forever grateful to Claudia for creating such a loving and supportive flamenco family.
For me, Flamenco is transformational and magical —it’s where discipline meets liberation. Through its movement and sound, Flamenco fires up all my senses, stirs ancestral whispers, and truly sets my soul free.
I dance flamenco because not only is it my favorite form of dance, but it’s a a dance that brings out so many emotions that I can express passionately while dancing. This is a dance form where I also feel comfortable in being myself. As I also have Spanish blood, I want to learn more about the Spanish culture and share it with the community.
Dance is the medium through which I express myself. Words can be so constraining, yet dance is so freeing that it's actually able to convey the complexity of our feelings. And it's through Flamenco, and with the passion I feel when I'm dancing, that all those good and bad feelings transform into something beautiful.

What started as a simple idea to spend more meaningful time with one another quickly blossomed into a shared passion for the rhythm, emotion, and artistry of flamenco dance. Every class and practice session gave us a chance to connect not just as family, but as students and supporters of each other. Through flamenco, we’ve created memories, challenged ourselves, and deepened our relationship in a beautiful and empowering way.

Flamenco is my heritage. It’s friends and family. It’s a knowledge that we receive from the past, we learn from it and live through it and we send it to the next generation with little pieces of us.
